I think most folks outside of Colorado would argue this newfound emphasis on flags in the secondary were all "Peyton rules." He's had his own impact on the rule book.

I don't bother with the No Firearms Losers/National Felons League anymore. ... and still doesn't affect the game as much as Don Shula's "in-the-grasp" rule did (implemented because his QB couldn't run anyway with the braces protecting his knees).
