First, I have to admit that I believe that the guy had musical talent. That is the extent of the "props" I'll give him.

The guy was 100% sick lunatic. Word is coming from Jacksons lawyer that he saw needle tracks on MJ's arms for years. I'm sure that he was guilty of molesting those kids but we will never KNOW for sure.

What makes me sick is that his death and the death of pitchman Billy Mays completely overran any coverage of Farrah's death. I will definitely miss her. What guy 35 or older didn't have a crush on her?

These last couple of weeks have been really bad for celebrities.

I gotta admit there were a couple of touching parts during jackson's memorial... the song that his brother sang, his daughter crying.

But you know, I'd trade michael jackson and his whole family to get back Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon. Or Ed Freeman. Michael A. Monsoor. Michael P. Murphy. Paul R. Smth.

They are infinitley more worthy of rememberance.

I liked Michaels music. I understand why he ended up messed up in the head with a father that beat him, having to be the youngest brother yet the most talented and always having the pressure put on him, and the international coverage and being in the spotlight at such a young age. i am really amazed he made it this long.

listening to the interview of him a few years ago they were recently playing just made me realize how truly messed up in the head he was. There isn't a doubt in my mind he touched some children. that is wrong no matter which way you put it.

Either way, people will look past the bad things he did and see him for the positives. It is a sad day for his family and for all his fans.

but I did hear an amusing joke:

When Farrah Faucet died, she went up to the pearly gates and met with saint Peter. He told her he was sorry she had to go and she would have a great life in heaven and because she was so great on earth he would grant her one wish. she simply said "I wish all the children of the world to be safe"
Saint Peter said "done" and he killed Michael Jackson.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

I agree about MJ's music, but as far as as him being messed up because of his childhood I can't buy. While my upbringing was very different from his, I too had a bad childhood. There comes a time in everyones life where they have to quit blaming their behavior on what their parents did to them as a child and take ownership for who they are and what they do.

MJ was a 4 star loon who just happened to have a very marketable talent.
