Wow if I still had an internet feeling left, it might actually be hurt.. yeah not really. I only speak from my experience and it's never been bad. So what ever your malfunction with Matt might be, it's yours, not mine.
I am not sure some others have had a GOOD OR BAD experience, but I saw a guy (who wears shorts even during the winter; i assume it is Matt) almost jumping over the table during the Tanner Gun show. I once saw him stopping the conversation, and run about 15m/yd and taking rifle out of someone.
I once got accidently got pushed/bumped by someone around 07 gun show. Which it happens a lot there. I guess it moved his firearm a little from the table. He got mad at me and others for pushing his table/items around.
I think i saw him getting mad/angry/etc every other time I goto a gun show (during 06-08). I don't know how he is now. I don't like to complain. I don't even want to critique about their business ethics nor his attitude. I don't care he is only making $10/gun sales.
I am just telling you what I've seen at a gunshow.
I don't like talking bad about any businesses, but this guy seriously needs some type of help.
Would I buy from them? Sure, if the deal is too damn good to be true. If they are selling NIB Sig P220R for 1/2 the price, sure! I am willing to take his F#&#& crap to save 50%.
However, if the price is +/- 15% of other competitor(s), I would rather goto other local competitor(s).
I was just asking if they where ass out of inventory or if they where closing to take inventory. I had zero intention of bringing up drama.
YOU asked for the rest by calling me out on the carpet.
Perhaps I did phrase my question a little hostile. Like I said Matt has personally screwed me on a couple deals that ended a very tight business arrangement and a friendship. Two years after the incident, I even attempted to extend an olive branch and I was told to go fuck myself. So these are the type of people you are dealing with. I'm just telling it the way it happened since you asked.
It is crazy with people and 5280. I have the same conversations on ar-15.com. I have been going there for a few years now, I have purchased 2 guns from them. Both went smooth and their prices were slightly less then most. My only beef with them is the ****ing 3% charged on CC. As well all know most guns stores do this. Complete BS, it is the cost of doing business!!! Fire arms and ammo have good mark up why do gun vendors feel it necessary to add 3% on CC and not take checks?
I am guessing it is a vacation, they made lots of money, and they will wait a month since prices are coming down and things are slowing down a lot. take it easy for a month, have a "re-opening sale" and start of august good. good for them!![]()
