Default Wash new law I-594 Backfires

The definition of firearm contained in state law and in I-594 reads, “… A weapon or device from which a projectile or projectiles may be fired by an explosive such as gunpowder.”

This isn't the only issue with this Bloomberg POS. I guess there is a provision that people need to comply with state OR federal law instead of and. I guess it also conflicts with other areas in statute where it didn't strike the previous language. My friend who lives up there has a list if stupid provisions.

Well, this was a piece of legislation that was written by people that have no business writing laws and passed by morons (the stupidity of the American voter, Gruber was right).

Perhaps the governor of WA will take on the powers of the dictator and just change the law with his pen, he has the example of our president to guide him.

This was my favorite part of the whole article, especially the part about the LEO's:

" As it now stands, it appears that very few residents of Washington State have an interest in complying with the new law, which will presumably be just fine, since the state's law enforcement officers have very little interest in a law that they feel is both unconstitutional and unenforceable."

Maybe I'm giving the liberals too much credit...but I think maybe they knew exactly what they were doing when they wrote this very broad law.
