I've been watching their uppers forever. I don't need a "patrol" but I want to build myself a longer range [PSA] rifle as I built my dad last year. Something PSA, 18" or so, no front sight. And they've been out of stock forever, even with complete build kits.
At some point I think I'm going to have to suck it up and go BCM.

The BCM cool-aid may be worth it.... but it depends what you're hoping to get out of it. I have had a bunch of PSA uppers and none of them are as accurate as my BCM 18" SS410 upper, but several of them are very close to MOA shooters.

Otherwise, I'm a little frustrated that PSA is pushing out everything with a FSB lately. Maybe there is more money in it for them that way, idk.

haha yep! And you can make one of these cheapo ARs pretty nice with a few easy upgrades: stock, trigger, maybe a handguard swap, etc. if you decide to down the road

    I don't think I'm an MOA shooter!
Honestly, I enjoyed spec'ing it all out, the build, and the dial-in better than regularly shooting it.
This is similar to the build kit I used for my Dad's: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...rifle-kit.html
Except his was an 18, similar Midwest rail/handguard, etc.
BCM is great stuff, and I like them almost as much as my beloved Daniel Defense, but after watching the DD & PSA youtube torture tests, I feel like the PSA rifle I assembled is 90+% as good as my DD for 60% of the cost, and so I've developed warm fuzzies for PSA as well.
    Obviously not a golfer.

Excuse my ignorance, what does "FSB" stand for?
