Default Any Quail Hunters in Here ??

Been out a few times with a buddy & his dogs looking for Quail this season, not having much luck, Was able to flush a covey on some walk-in ground out in Lincoln County a few weeks ago.

Been in some of the best cover I've seen in years, was hoping for more action than we've found so far.

Has anyone been seeing any birds??

Quail are few and far between it seems like. Last time I saw some was turkey hunting on river bottom up near sterling on my buddies private property.

We have a bumper crop of Gambel's Quail this year at our place. About 50 birds show up every morning and evening, but, I don't hunt the home covey.

Had a grat Texas quail hunt today. Saw lots of birds. Of course, it's leagle to bait and put feeders out in Texas.
