Default Esate Will / Trust lawyer in Highland Ranch or Castle Rock area.

We're looking to update our will with the new addition and I'm looking for a firearms friendly lawyer or firm in the area. I worked with NFATRUSTGUY for my NFA trust but after speaking with him we decided we're a bit too far apart for the estate planning piece.

I got a card from a firm a the Douglas County fair this summer but I can't find it (they had a table for NFA trusts at the fair). I think they had offices in Castle Rock and Centennial.

Cool, have you worked with them? We want someone who understands our beliefs and how to protect a significant investment.

I have. We did not discuss my firearms, because they're not titled assets, like a home. They're property, like a TV or anything else in my home. They can be part of your will or be dealt with as part of your estate. Since the Universal Background Check laws were passed, there's more to passing on a firearm to family member or individual than just listing them in your will.

Thanks, that's one of the main parts I want to make sure we deal with properly.
