1st wife's cousin's kid (Robert) works for NASA at JSC. Was working with main propulsion for the shuttles. Had the misfortune to be working the re-entry for Columbia when it burned up on re-entry. He's now the main engine lead for Project Morpheus.
The robonaut program is really cool. Sending autonomous robots to a destination with the idea of having them build infrastructure in advance of astronauts is where the future of exploration is IMO. The robonauts are a cross-development program with NASA and GM. Won't need much human interaction with auto manufacturing some day. Rob mentioned a demo he watched where the parts for a GM door assembly were dumped on a bench. The robonaut identified the parts in the pile and selected the parts in order and put the door together without human intervention.

Don't be so quick with that decision...I've blocked all of the interstellar IP Addresses to cut down on extra-terrestrial spammers. You wouldn't be able to get onto the site anymore.

Oh good heavens yes. Until recently I was the sole admin for the AFSCN's largest DCC user. Glad that after 7 years I finally passed that baton to a group of unwitting suckers.Neato. Can you please fix AFSCN?
