    Was more of a joke. "there's a tool for evey job, and a job for every tool" so using the punch as a hammering surface didn't seem right to me, but after watching how perfect it works - it's the tool I will be using.

    Will all the steps be the same with an ar-10, or will there be significant differences?

    the manufacturer of the upper will have their own torque settings for the barrel nut. Things are a little less standard in the short action ARs.
