    Default To the left

This may not be the correct area for this question, if not I apologize. So took my M&P shooting yesterday, have to say I love it! But I always shoot 1 inch to the left of the bullseye, a guy next to me let me try out his .357 magnum and his Glock 29, and guess what? I shot 1 inch left of the bullseye. After I start thinking about it, I have always had this problem. It is not the gun, I know it is me. Do any of you guys know what I am doing wrong? It's not a big deal, just something that is bugging me. I still managed to group at 10 yards 2 inches so that's not bad, but it would be nice to correct this problem I have. Thanks guys

if you're right handed, give the trigger a bit more finger... if you're left handed, give it less.

Read the book "The perfect pistol shot"... I promise it will fix your shooting or I will pay for the cost of the book.
I've heard all the advice you have gotten, and seen all the targets showing what you are doing wrong.
The book spells out the "why" and "how" in a way that helps like no other.

BTW... Forget the finger placement thing.. I bet you are right handed.

Right handed I would guess, try dry firing at a spot on the wall and see if the front sights move when the hammer falls. Most right handed shooters will allow the rest of the hand to squeeze the gun a little when they pull the trigger. Try to move just the trigger finger.

Just hang your targets an inch to the left.

My opinion is that this is correct, but probably near impossible to see when dry firing.
Throwing a laser on the gun would help see. Wouldn't need to be fancy, zeroed, or permanently mounted.
