Grand Jury Decides Not To Indict Cop In Eric Garner Chokehold Case

The news tonight showed when the officer put his arm around his neck and him going down.
According to NY a choke hold is illegal, the officer said he did not use a choke hold but the video shows different.

My understanding is that he died at the hospital.
A head lock is far from a choke hold.
You have to be able to breathe to say you can't breathe.
Cops got screwed by this video. This wrestling match wasn't really that physical. Dude probably would have died walking home.

Don't commit numerous crimes.

Right. What makes that order unlawful? Usually a moral imperative. We may or may not have a moral imperative to disobey a law that serves no purpose or conflicts with our principles.

By tarnishing the police actions across the land and spreading distain, especially when the race card can be played, are they are preparing 'us' for a federal police state? Not at all. it's similar to the current round of opec price drops. Lower the price enough and domestic oil / US jobs are gone. They are doing this IMO w/out any backlash from this admin. Eliminate jobs, remain dependent on foreign oil AND the .gov for support with more people out of work.

These folks (pics posted previous post) are dropping BIG Money in to protest posters. How much does 24 x 36 full color run? Distributing thousands of different one throughout the city? A NYC Mayor who is an openly socialist 3rd world card carrying member. A CIC who ask people to REMAIN CALM while a split screen shows looting & arson. YET is nowhere to be seen afterwards.

IF he were a UNITER instead of a DIVIDER as he said when running for office. Were he a true Leader. He would have flown to Fergadishu done a press conference and said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Is this how people of color want the world to see us / you? BUT NO.......... He's in the wind (Chicago) stumping for Immigration EO/s

By the way... There were almost 230,000 misdemeanor arrests by NYPD in NYC last year. None of them turned out like this one did. This type of situation is not common. I know once is one time too many under the circumstances but this is not a problem of the police being out of control or the system not working.

1 / 230,000 is about 4.64 parts per million. That's pretty good by any measure.

Not a cop, never wanted to be a cop, it seems like a really tough job. A few LEO friends have shared experiences in which I know I couldn't handle. My tolerance for stupid people is quite low, and LEOs see the worst our species have to offer.

I don't have all the facts, but with more info coming out, I've had to revise my initial reaction.

I heard this one yesterday as well. I honestly never knew this was a thing to be concerned about. So now we have an oil boom and that's a bad thing. We just can't win. If the oil boom towns in ND, TX, etc... start laying people off, those folks will never survive in those highly inflated areas.
