Default UNCONSCIOUS PROFILING / DOJ Interference

    http://nypost.com/2014/12/07/eric-ho...onscious-bias/

Social psychologist Lorie Fridell is credited with pioneering the “unconscious bias” theory in policing. She developed her “Fair and Impartial Policing” program with generous grants from Holder’s department and has trained officers in more than 250 precincts and agencies across the country, including Seattle’

Like Holder, Fridell wants to ban all criminal profiling that takes a suspect’s race into account. She believes legal definitions of unlawful discrimination are “outdated” and should be broadened to include even unquantifiable prejudice against people of color that occurs “outside our conscious awareness.”

While she admits the link between blacks and crime is statistically strong — African-Americans commit 53% of all murders and are 10 times more likely to commit violent crimes than whites — she trains cops to resist that “stereotype.”

“Biased policing,” Justice explained in its findings letter to the Seattle PD, “is not primarily about the ill-intentioned officer but rather the officer who engages in discriminatory practices subconsciously,” adding that even a well-meaning cop can violate the civil rights of black suspects by operating “on implicit biases that impact that officer’s behavior or perceptions.”

Do they even know what 'profiling' means or what it's true purpose is?

Who that hell are these people and how the FUCK are they even allowed to get near our (tax payers) money? Its a good thing that Denver just won or my head would explode.

The corruption runs so deep in our political system that it may take some blood on both sides to set it right. Probably not in my lifetime but unless the "mob" gets it's act together soon, this will be one royally fucked up country.

They must avoid them because they certainly aren't learning anything.

This "unconscious bias" implies that babies are racist which I think is just silly. I know hadji/holder are racist, anyone with their eyes open can see it, fridell is just another "white guilt" idiot. This administration is trying to get a race war going, they'll fail but idiots on both sides will get hurt.

Your beliefs fit your agenda and are hypocritical at best. Profiling....great idea, unless it comes to us gun owners right? What if they profiled those of us who are on record for owning firearms....especially NFA? I mean 100% of firearm owners commit 100% of firearm related crime obtained legally or not. You would go apeshit if the goverment violated your rights by singling you out for your purchases. What if the goverment started profiling those who made anti-govt remarks on websites as subversive? How about making white kids go through metal detectors as they go into schools seeing how they are most likely to go crazy and shoot up the place. Again, everyone would be in an uproar. What if police depts or the military started profiling their members based on a composite makeup of who are against anti firearm restrictions? When I worked loss prevention at few different dept stores one common theme stuck out....everybody steals and to focus on one group in particular will narrow your focus. It was not policing, but taught me some valuable lessons on focusing on any one group ( aside from the fact that it against our rights as Americans ). We want the right to assemble in front of the capital to stand up for our 2A rights but are ready to oppose anyone else who exercises the same constitutionally guaranteed protections. We stand for the constitution, not just the parts we like.

PLEASE spar me the BS. I have been profiled countless times because of skin color in the 70's & 80's. Couldn't go 1/2 mile without being pulled over, just because they wanted to "talk" to me AND w/out permission start ripping my vehicle apart.

As for gun owners being profiled... WE ARE and have been since the late 80's. The countless Anti-Gun groups pigeon hole us as unstable extremist who own Assault weapons with ARSENALS of guns & ammo.
    http://www.livescience.com/28617-pre...n-control.html

The safe act also allows for gun Confiscation when A person in the medical field feels a gun owner may posses a threat, Based on their Opinion. Not facts but OPINION.

    http://www.socialjusticesolutions.or...g-requirement/

If the individual possesses a gun, the license will be suspended and law enforcement will be authorized to remove the person’s firearm (or the individual may be prevented from obtaining one in the future). This change is currently scheduled to take effect on March 16, 2013 which is 60 days from the date the legislation was signed into law.

There are laws in CA CT, MA and IIRC MD that allow for removal of firearms.
