Default Can someone measure a factory subsonic .300 blk round for me?

Specifically, OAL to the ogive with a comparator.

Or, if you know the boltface to lands dimension on your chamber, that would work, too.

It does not work like that. First what "factory" load and there are differeneces even between batches. Second, if I do take the measurement it would mean nothing to you since my gun is going to be different compared to yours (is this an AR or Bolt gun?). Third, even if we go with the other two being equal (they are not) even the tools we are using would be different. Probably not by much but it could be enough.

You need to get your own comparator and O-Give data for the bullet, gun and setup you have. Not trying to give ya grief. This could be dangerous if you try to use others data.

My guess is that you are having trouble getting your 300BLK rounds to properly lock the BCG into battery? I am sure Hoser will be along shortly with his more knowledgable input.

This might help explain what I am saying:

You've assumed more ignorance on my part than is probably warranted, but I won't argue.

So, can someone else give me a dimension from bolt face to lands? I'm trying to measure with an un-jacketed bullet, and the lead is so soft I'm having a hard time getting consistent results. Just looking for a ballpark number to get myself calibrated.
