AF was ranked pretty high a few years ago...top 25 in the nation, maybe. Don't recall when...2009 or 2010?

CSU was ranked 23ish at AP poll few weeks ago, and AF beat them.

I kid you not, but a dude I know who graduated from AF went to grad at UCLA. We actually went to Oregon vs UCLA at Pasadena together.
I asked him 'If AF plays UCLA, would would you go for?" he said UCLA.


ETA: before some get mad at this response... It was during the game we were watching, and he might have misunderstood it as "who would you bet on"

I know you're kidding, but I've heard this asked a lot before. Here's the answer: They'll never rank very high. They aren't really there to play football. They are there to learn about character and honesty and service and leadership and all that good stuff. Football is just a distraction from how much it sucks to be a cadet/midshipmen.

Yeah, I think that was 2009. Their basketball and hockey teams occasionally get ranked top 25 too.
