Very proud dad

Just got home from the meps station down town from watching my son enlist in the Marine delayed enlistment program. He will pick his job tomorrow and ships out the 2nd of Feb. I was Air Force and his sister was Army. So the military is no stranger to us. He came and talked to me about it a few months ago and has had to jump a lot of hoops for the Marines. But he got it done. As a dad I couldn't be more proud of him than I am right now. I wish him a safe journey on this new road he is taking. I love you son

Congrats, may he come home safe from his enlistment a better man for his service. It is a choice many will never know the satisfaction of.
