If you're white, you likely have racial bias you can't control

I've always been a casual student of sociology and psychology. When I first went to college, I was a psych major and got to actually learn a few legit things in the sociology/psych realm. It caused my to pay closer attention to people.

People have a tendency to prefer others from the same cultural, social, biological, and other similar backgrounds.

THIS ^^ just so happens to be one of the pet concepts I've watch in people and I can't stress enough how significantly this is true. Over the last 30+ years in multiple civilian, collegiate and military environments, I've watched this phenomenon. Still amazed by it.
