I usually stop watching them when they become too scripted.

They're all starting to lose me. Axe men is really almost beyond watchable now. I gave up on Pickers two years ago. I hope they don't ruin Gold Rush even though I have a hard time watching Todd and his clown crew, especially after last season.

If it weren't for DVR I couldn't watch any of it.

    This thread reminded me: https://www.ar-15.co/threads/143951-...very-Questions

Sunday's episode featured a winch with a cut line. The dude actually sat on the hood, right above the winch, and held the bare wires while his brother drove and winched.
JUST like the safety stuff they mention in the manual.

I like how they always talked about blazing their own trail threw the land but yet they are always on well traveled roads. Could they find five older and less maintained crappy rigs to take on the trek. They generally have one obstacle per day that for a decent rig would not even slow them down. The two brothers with the four runner i wouldnt trust to drive across town are kind of funny.

Oh, hell yes! With the depth and breadth of human history, THIS crap is what they come up with? But I guess they have to give the public what they want; we are truly doomed as a nation.

Although I enjoy the Pawn Stars, American Pickers, etc. I do agree the shows don't really belong on the History channel. With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing this Alaskan off road warriors, too bad I don't have cable.

The history channel and the discovery channel suck now.
