You know the trick to rid off that fish/soil smell is to keep them alive in a bucket for few days. They detox themselves w/ the clean fresh water.

    Default Pueblo Fish taste great.

Walleye, Wiper, Bass and Catfish out of Pueblo are great eating.
The Trout don't taste as good as 11 mile but there ok smoked.
This is a good time of year to shoot the Steel shoot on Wednesdays evening and get in some fishing in the evening.

Lakes are boring.... You did ask for stream fishing for big trout didn't ya? First check out this http://www.coloradofishing.net/ft_slammin.htm and then if your ever around Summit County try the Blue River early morning right in town (Silverthorne) or move down towards Green Mnt. Res. Also check out Roaring Fork, Fryingpan and Fraser. I've caught a few big Browns in the Blue. My brother likes the Colorado up by Kremmling where the Troublesome comes together. Good Fishing !
