    Default DDLES lower help

I recently was able to get my hands on a DDLES Glock lower and need some help with the bolt catch. Does anyone have directions for this lower or know how to assemble the bolt catch? I can see a spring already inside the lower so does the new bolt catch spring sit on top? Does the bolt catch go through that "lever"?

Bring it by. It appears the BC is held in with a roll pin the unit sits on the spring, from what little is out there on them . The info out there seems to lead one to do away with it as it's something that works, occasionally.

Unfortunately, there's a bunch of threads on ar15 that shows many people having the same issue.

seems like a bunch of tweaking to get it to work some of the time. I know a few of them have given up.

Well I have seen other threads about having issues with them but I'm not sure if I am installing it right. I'll snap some pictures later today and lost them.

I just built a QC10 this past weekend but I did the colt pattern (same as a DDLES). Not sure if the bolt catch is different on the colt vs Glock version but I could snap some pics if that would help.

For what's it's worth mine ran flawless with any and all kinds of ammo. Love it!

Pictures would be great! I'm just trying to figure out if I'm installing it correctly. You can see the 'catch' on the bolt catch looks like it needs to go through that hole on the 'lever.' If I install it this way, it seems the bolt catch will always be engaged. Also on the lower where the spring goes, there is already a spring in there. Does you install a second spring on top of it?

I found a copy of the DDLS instructions here-

My colt pattern is a little different then what yours looks like so don't think I would be much help. Hope you get it sorted out. It's a blast to shoot! Waiting for my Form 1 to come through so I can SBR it.
