    Default Gen 4 Glock trigger

So, recently picked up my first gen 4 Glock and the trigger was pretty atrocious. Way worse than any gen 2 or 3 I have had. Took it apart and did a little polishing on all of the contact points. Better, but still pretty heavy. Decided to put a trigger pull gauge on it and see just how bad it was.

Took several pulls and here was the average.

Just to give you an idea, here is the average pull weight on my Ruger LCR.

Decided maybe putting some new parts in it might be in order. Went with the Ghost Rocket 3.5 connector, the Ghost spring kit, and a factory gen 4 trigger bar with the smooth trigger.

By the time everything was in this was the end result.

Now it feels about like most of the factory triggers on the older generation guns. Might even get a little better after it gets some rounds through it.

Got to say I'm not terribly impressed with the newest generation Glock. Think I'll stick to the older ones from now on.

Wow I did the same exact thing to my gen4 19 and my trigger feels way lighter than 6lbs but I don't have a trigger pull gauge. Mine also has 1k rounds thru it. Did you use the 6lb or 4lb spring? I polished everything up and used the lightest spring.

I used the six pound spring.
