I also had a strange craving for milk when I was watching it for some reason.

I saw some (hex mags) in person today. Fifteen rounders that looked like normal 30 rounders. I wasn't overly impressed but did like the way you could change out the followers and floor plate retainers to different colors.

Got to handle one of these at Ark the other day when I was ordering more stuff. Seems lighter than other polymer mags, but the plastic itself doesn't have the cheaper feel like some do. Rigid body and no noises from the follower or spring make me want to try one or two out.

I got to handle one at Ark the other day as well. Seemed OK at first. Then, for whatever reason, I gave a little squeeze to the feed lips. Man, did they flex. And with very little effort on my part. In fact, if I got a little mean with it they would flex enough to pinch down on the follower.

While it's awesome to see new products hit the market and even better that they are made locally, I'll probably just stick to the tried and true stuff.

The 30 round Magpul and the 15/30 round HexMag both weighed 4.6 ounces on my electronic scale.

Hmmm, time to ask around about Hexmags. The flexing thing disturbs me. If you're going to do the plastic mag thing, it has to be MUCH better, not just as good. Magpul has been at it for a while. I use them almost exclusively, with no issues. (All colors). Don't come in as the "Johnny-come-lately" and lo-ball the tech that has been established already by the original. They paid their dues, and then some, you have to do the same.
    We'll see.

Ark Tactical Has them in stock as well as baseplate and followers. I have a few but haven't been able to use them. Love the fact that you can change the parts out and make it different colored base plates and followers. I'm hoping to shoot with them soon to see if I'd recommend them or not.

Looks interesting, I will grab a 15 and give it a try. If I don't like it, I can double my money on Armslist.
