Default Public Service Anouncment: Avoid Santa Fe NB to I-25 NB ramp.

As if the 1-25 & 6th. Ave construction congestion wasn't bad enough, CDOT has decided to put up temporary ramp metering again on the Santa Fe NB ramp to I-25 NB.
They will be in operation for both your morning and evening commuting pleasure every day this week.
So, if your normal route takes you this way, and you like sitting in traffic and staring at the brake lights in front of you, continue on your normal route.
Otherwise try to figure out a different way to go, my predictions are that traffic on NB Santa Fe will back up to at least Florida, and peak times will encroach toward Evans.

Have fun out there and by the way, Merry Christmas from CDOT.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Thanks for the update! I've almost stopped using that onramp. But occasionally...I forget. Re-doing that ramp didn't improve it at all, amazing!

Sounds like business as usual. I'll try and use the Broadway ramp and see how that goes this week.

Thanks for heads up, my schedule puts me in that mess two afternoons this week. Will avoid it.

That ramp is backed up nearly all day long anyway. There is zero possibility metering will help. Everything about that interchange is a disaster. Thanks for the heads up. I travel NB Sante Fe under I25 multiple times each day. I will avoid it completely now. The metering will make travel on Sante Fe a nightmare.

    This should be a sticky.
