Default Does anybody have problems with flies, wasps, and stinkbugs in their house?

We have a home in the foothills that has generally high ceilings and big windows. There seems to be an almost self-perpetuating problem with files, wasps and stink bugs. We will kill an bunch, and a couple of days they seem to be right back again. I have checked for ingress points, but everything seems to be sealed-up pretty tight. And no, we don't have a body farm in the basement.

Does anybody have experience dealing with this problem in either their mountain or flatland home?

    Thanks,

    Hunter

Flies, flies, and more damn flies up in my apartment. Has been like that every year, but this year seems particularly bad. Usually I can "deal" with them with some of that sticky flypaper stuff on some of the south-facing windows, but there are so many it just keeps getting filled up.

We too have an abundance of the three insects mentioned and we also have spiders and once in a while a miller or two.. I am not aware of a way for them to enter the house so some are apparently "hatched" from their eggs deposited during the Summer and Fall especially by the windows. Been this way for the past twenty years that we have lived here in Colorado. Some may get into the house via bathroom exhaust fan tubes/stacks. Damn bugs!!

No pest strips. They emanates some kind of odor that kills them. I put them in the crawl space as the bugs seem to come into the house in the winter.

Sounds like your home is Cursed.

Saw it on a horror flick. Call a shaman. burn some sage, get some Holy water, sacrifice a Chucky Doll, call Orkin,,,

In my folks current house, there are constantly spiders. researched them, they are called grass spiders. They don't do any harm, but If I see them, they die. Then I leave them sitting where they were killed, to scare off the others. (doesn't work)

One year, I recall my folks getting orkin out here and that seemed to work well for a few months.

My old apartment had flies, but a towel at the base of the door fixed that. the neighbor across the hall was a welfare case that never cleaned.

House geckos will eat them all if you don't mind a couple of lizards hiding behind your picture frames on your wall.
