I tested right before and after so the reboot was definitely required for me.

Does anyone know if you can purchase your own VoIP enabled modem now? Last time I looked Comcast wouldn't allow you to purchase your own modem if you were also using VoIP.

ETA: dont get a used one. It may take a while to get it added and everything provisioned, so call when you have enough tike to spare. I would do it, but I dont have access to add an emta to inventory. The care agent will have to escalate it to get it added.
