Yeah, I can hardly watch a Youtube video straight through. Looks like I need to take Jer's advice.

I mean, for $20 you can't go wrong compared to paying Comcast $8/mo for their modem which is on par with this one.
Can you go ahead and just point out which wifi modem I should use with this please? I'm sure I have total garbage just cobbled together and could use the help.

Reboot again. When I reboot my modem I pull power, wait a minute or two & then plug it back in. Some modems have a power or reboot button but a few only soft reset so I like to go all in if I'm rebooting.

I wouldn't use a WiFi modem as they're mostly tras . That modem I posted is a good start & a quality router (for WiFi) will run you over $100. I've got a few & on some I run custom firmware (DD-WRT, Tomato, etc.) but for the average user that's overkill. A solid residential router would be an Asus N66U which can be had for about $125ish pretty much anytime & sales/refurbs dip under $100. Update the firmware before setup & you've got a solid performing router right out of the box.

I meant WiFi router. I did unplug my modem to reboot. Guess I could do it again.

If you're current modem supports DOCSIS 3.0 then you should be good to go & it saves you $20-$80 for a new one. That router model I posted is a good router.
