At least the Garner/Brown families have condemed it. Maybe that will be enough to not have this continue.

I highly doubt that the Brown family's public condemnation reflects their true feelings.

It absolutely blows my mind that this country is in such a state that a complete illiterate like Sharpton is given one ounce of credibility in any arena. We're talking about a guy who would struggle to keep up with a 1st graders yet has met with our POTUS 80+ times. Now a movie exec. is finding value in him??? My head is going to explode.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Cops will continue to do their jobs no matter how dangerous people like this try to make it. It's not always the most fun job, but someone has to do it.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Florida authorities say a police officer was shot and killed in Tarpon Springs early Sunday.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that the shooting occurred at around 3 a.m. and that a suspect has been taken into custody.
A news conference is to be held later in the morning, the statement said.

Remeber we value American Idol, Angelina Jolie's opinion, ignorance ( hence Sharpton being voted head Black person by most famous people ) and Social media as a reliable news source. Despite being the greatest country on the planet, we've grown lazy and ignorant ( I blame FB and other social media). To be honest John, all we have to go on is what they say, knowing someone's true feelings would be an X-men type gift and unless your the devil, you can't help but have sympathy in you heart for the two officers and their families. 99% of this country is heart broken over this. The guy who did it was a POS who was wanted on another murder and probably loves the fact that beyond the grave he's somehow created this controversy, when in truth, it was all about him being a physco-path, who knew he was going down and decided that he'd to try add some validity to his shitty existence by posting an Instagram photo ( see above....we're not responsible enough for social media ). Don't give this POS credit. BTW my wife's cousin just retired as a Lead homicide detective ( and ret. US Marine ) in mid town, Manhattan and his son is a beat officer in the 79th.
