Remeber we value American Idol, Angelina Jolie's opinion, ignorance ( hence Sharpton being voted head Black person by most famous people ) and Social media as a reliable news source. Despite being the greatest country on the planet, we've grown lazy and ignorant ( I blame FB and other social media). To be honest John, all we have to go on is what they say, knowing someone's true feelings would be an X-men type gift and unless your the devil, you can't help but have sympathy in you heart for the two officers and their families. 99% of this country is heart broken over this. The guy who did it was a POS who was wanted on another murder and probably loves the fact that beyond the grave he's somehow created this controversy, when in truth, it was all about him being a physco-path, who knew he was going down and decided that he'd to try add some validity to his shitty existence by posting an Instagram photo ( see above....we're not responsible enough for social media ). Don't give this POS credit. BTW my wife's cousin just retired as a Lead homicide detective ( and ret. US Marine ) in mid town, Manhattan and his son is a beat officer in the 79th.

Yeah, the time with my daughter is priceless. I constantly get reminded of the teenage years so I try to soak up up the time I have now. I hope we can continue that relationship when she gets older. Gonna teach her to shoot next year.

I don't see this going anywhere. I see this as one crazy guy using current events to get a little publicity on the way out, and some chumps acting like chumps through social media. The people with terrible responses have given this entire event exactly the amount of time as it took to whip up their dumb response. I doubt they are planning on killing more cops.

The media shopped for someone like her. ESPECIALLY on Malcolm X blvd. You notice they do not include her inspirational words. Knowing very well that area, i will venture to say it was nothing geared towards racial harmony.

In regards to all this, I keep seeing people with signs that read: "Black lives matter." Um, OK, did anyone day otherwise? I never said black lives didn't matter, I never heard anyone day that. That's awful presumptuous and kind of a dick move to put words in people's mouth. I guess to these wastes of oxygen Asian and Hispanic lives don't matter as much as black lives... :/
