It isn't a rock crawler, but use it for what it was made for? Better have a helicopter if you want to keep up.

HP + cold + summer only tires = crash. Once the Ins Co pulls the black box data or gets it from the po-po he is not going to like life.

In that case, the Toyota would have kipped over the tree.

They're notorious for the bed folding into the cab when they encounter rough terrain at speed or take jumps. It's marketed as a light-duty baja truck, but can't actually run dunes. It doesn't have the front end for technical trails. It's not meant to tow or haul anything serious. To be honest, I'm not really sure what it was made for other than contributing to GDP.

I own a 2005 GTO that makes 675 HP & TQ at the wheels. With that much power at your fingertips you have to use solid judgement when doing some "Spirited Driving". You also need to know what the limits are for the given conditions. If not, you will pay the ultimate price in a hurry. This guy got an expensive lesson in poor judgement.

Oh yeah and the $60K Dodge Hellcat makes 631 HP & 591 TQ at the wheels on a chassis dyno, which is a far cry from the claimed 707HP. This is pretty stout power but it also has a porky curb weight of 4439lbs......... My GTO is going to love slapping these things around in the summer on relaxing Sunday drives

I once handled a claim where a guy drove a car off the lot, wrecked it that night, but then the loan was denied, so it was never his car at all, and the dealership's insurance had to deal with the whole mess.

Neither the insurance company or the police will pull the black box, or even care what is on it.

If you say so. I know a friend that 20 min after his accident looked over and the police already had the briefcase on the hood with the cable plugged into the OBD port pulling data off the car. This was 3-4 months ago.
