Default Welcome our newest staff members (mods)

As is bound to happen from time to time, people's every day lives can consume enough time that their hobbies can take a back seat. This is true of all hobbies, including the site staff members here on CO AR-15. All of our site staff perform their duties on a purely volunteer basis. Recently, the real world has demanded more from some of our staff members, and they must do what they need to do for themselves and their families, including stepping down as mods/admins for CO AR-15.

Because of this, we have been short staffed recently on the site mod/admin front. In order to respond to this, we have asked a couple of individuals to volunteer to help run the site, and both have graciously accepted. I should note that site staff is an invite only position, for those who have proven themselves as a good candidate for the position.

These individuals have demonstrated exemplary characteristics in unbiased judgement, amicable conflict resolution, and the highest levels of moral statute. They additionally have proven themselves to be upstanding members of the community, are even-keeled and fair.

So, without further ado, please welcome (again) our newest staff members (moderators):

    cstone
    buffalobo

Both cstone and buffalobo are now full fledged moderators, and will help to keep all areas of the site running smoothly. We welcome them to the staff team.

On that note, we have several new retired admins/mods, that we cannot thank enough for the time and effort they have given over the years. Most will retain their rank/status as site staff, but will be labeled retired. This is because we do not want members contacting them via PM and expecting an immediate response. They have busy personal schedules and are not likely to respond to you within a short time. Please do not contact these people any more for site requests or questions:

Marlin -- Marlin is one of the founding admins, but is taking a back seat in a retired capacity. He is still around and still posting. However, please contact theGinsue, for things you used to contact Marlin for.

7idl -- One of the founding admins, has retired completely. He is no longer on staff, however if he returns in significant capacity he will be reinstated immediately.

Spleify -- Spleify retains his administrator status, but in a semi-retired role. Please don't contact him directly for site requests.

SA Friday -- SA Friday retains his super moderator status, but in a semi retired role. Please don't contact him directly for site requests.

I feel much safer knowing that cstone is patrolling our streets here.

buffalobo is one of the nicest guys you could meet. Hopefully he isn't afraid to dish out a little justice around here when it's needed.

Thanks to all of them, retired and new. I appreciate the efforts that go into places like this.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.
