or a 7 WSM, either way, I wish my 7/300 WSM was built on a long action so I could really take advantage of the case capacity and still be able to mag feed it.

Nice thing about the 7/300 WSM is it uses the shorter shouldered 270/300/325 WSM brass so you have a few more brass options (fed, Win, and Norma) than just the 7WSM Winchester Brass. 7 SAUM kinda runs into that same issue only you still have the option of Norma Brass in addition to Remington.

BTW: if you decide to go 7/300 WSM, I have a reamer and go/nogo gauges you could borrow.
