In WMP 10 and prior versions, right-click in the box and untick 'Show Media
Information'. It's not possible to disable it in WMP 11.


But you can delete the registry key that maintains that information.
Be very careful with this!


But the best advice I can give you is STOP using windows media player for music. It sucks balls!


Use Winamp or some other player that doesn't FORCE you to do what it wants. I think Microcrap has a Obama complex!
