Sign off or not, long term a Trust would be beneficial. Especially if you have immediate family in to firearms. Supposedly the ATF will be changing the NO CLEO & fingerprint rules for Trust come second quarter of 15. One more reason to form a Trust and BUY NOW !

Need to scrap up some cash, want two cans and an sbr this year. Would love to skip the CLEO, fingerprints don't bother me.

I hope to have a couple approved form 4s by the end of February, then a few more 90 and 120 days after that. Stamp collecting is addictive.

Annoyingly, form 3s have been taking almost twice as long as my Form 1s (e-form). My last three form 3s have taken 60 days, and my last five form 1's have taken 35 days +/- 3.

My last form 3 was filed 11/05, still waiting on it. One before that was lost in processing and had to be refiled. That was 90 days.

Last post may have been a little bitter sounding. What I meant was congratulations on finding it at a dealer and skipping the form 3. I have an AAC Element II that I really like on my 17HMR and Savage Mark II FV-SR. Anxiously waiting on my AAC 762-SDN-6 for a 300 Blackout, hopefully Feb 2015.

Docs where mailed on the 5th and they cashed the checks on the 12th? That seems rather quick doesn't it?

Last in store purchase at trigger time gun club, Mailed Form 4 Trust 06/13/2014, Cashed 06/20/2014, Approved 11/14/2014, Received 11/26/2014. Seems reasonable, mine split a weekend.
