Not sure who specializes in hard to find whiskey. Up here Liquor Mart's selection beats the hell out of Hazels.

Breckenridge Distillery is doing a lot of test batches but not sure where to get them. Maybe call.

Your best bet would be to try Applejacks. They have a large selection already, but most will attempt to find what you want IF they can get it.. I've put in some big orders for stuff they didn't normally carry at both Heritage in Centennial and Applejacks. Also the internet is your friend.. A lot of stores will ship.. Some states can ship things other than wine. I've ordered some rare cask items from a place in Texas before.

Not a huge selection, mostly a wine place, but the scotch, bourbon and whiskeys I've picked up there I've never seen anyplace else. In this neck of the woods, Coaltrain liquor on Uintah also has a very good selection of the good stuff.

I'm looking for a bottle of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve... coming up online for $350-450 a bottle, but the closest bottle I'm finding online is in Jackson Hole, and my friend doesn't trust it to the shipping people. She's planning on driving up there just to get it and I'm trying to save her some gas.

I'm looking for a bottle of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve... coming up online for $350-450 a bottle, but the closest bottle I'm finding online is in Jackson Hole, and my friend doesn't trust it to the shipping people. She's planning on driving up there just to get it and I'm trying to save her some gas.

Dedication doesn't even begin to describe it haha.

Something like that. Actually, nobody knows when the next release date is... not even Stranny's. It just depends on when they get a fresh wine barrel in. They'll announce the next release date whenever they figure it out on their Facebook and on their email list.
But yes, it usually involves waiting in line... for a day... in the cold...

Haha, I knew it was something like that. When we did the tour, my wife threatened to ask for a bottle of snowflake for Christmas since they were getting close to a release. Thankfully, she didn't!

Snowflake is released in June and December only. Yes you have to wait outside for a few hours to get a bottle. It's worth it though.

Wilburs in FOCO has a good selection of vintage in a side room. Just ask to get in there. They had 1 bottle of McCallan 25 after I left there the other day.

I got a bottle of snowflake for xmas, I believe they waited in line for about 4 hours. I'm afraid to open it!
