Default LR 308 rear sight question

I noticed that the DPMS patterned upper receiver has a different height rail from the standard AR. It appears to be about 0.060" higher from the barrel centerline, maybe more.

The barrel I have is a 20" rifle length gas system barrel with a standard front sight ( non F marked).

Based on this, how do I select a rear sight? It would seem that a standard rear sight would require a taller front sight post.

    Any input is appreciated.

DPMS has two different receiver heights, here is PDF to help you figure out which you have.
You can try contacting DPMS with your serial number for recommendations for rear sights.

Thanks Bob, that's more info than I could find so far. My upper is actually a Digital Tool receiver, but it is a dpms pattern 308. The measurement referenced on this receiver measures out at 0.150". Right in the middle of the two.
