Why won't mods answer any questions?

I've PM'ed mods (Spilfey and Marlin) about changing my screen name as I am no longer affiliated with the company that it represented. I've done this over the course of a few months and still no response from either mod. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Spleify has been busy with a new job and Marlin posts about once a year. I might try the Ginsue one more time?

Start a for sale thread listing hi-cap mags or post a firearm without mentioning going through a FFL and you'll get all the mod attention you can handle.

That'd be messed up if they allowed you to change your username and then banned you. Well, hopefully you can stay.

Your such an ass and a whiny one at that. if you do get banned we will post up all the crap that made it so. Just because it is not spelled out word for word in the rules does not give one carte blanche to constantly post up the rules like someone that has been hurt asking "But, but it did not say I could not set fire to the cat only the livestock and since the cat is a domestic animal and not livestock I thought it was ok"

THAT is the kind of crap you just love to post even when we nudge you. and THAT is the kind of crap that may just get you removed from the site. Notice that we would never ban you because that would look bad on the staff and it is in the rules. But one could remove you from the site and have no guilt about it because nowhere in the rules is this mentioned.

Let's see. 2 of the 3 Staff members have not been available on the site for some time to respond to anything. Paying attention to the activity of those you PM is something everyone should adhere to.

Now, I never got a PM requesting a screen name change. Send me another one. If your change isn't offensive, I will make it happen.

I've kept your PM's to me:
(1) 7-9-14/23:18: A PM in response to getting a temp banned.
(2) Today as 18:53: Asking if I'm ever going to answer your questions posed on 7-9-14.

I re-read those PM's; no mention of changing your username. It's a simple change that I'm happy to make. Do not make false claims to the membership trying to make me look bad. Do I screw up? Yep, but I step up and admit to it when I do. If I'd done wrong here I'd keep my integrity and admit to it. Since I know I didn't, it means you are blatantly lying about me. Bad move.



Now, as far as the other questions you've asked in your PM - That PM (and the second attempt for a response) was nothing more than trying to analyze our rules and split hairs & technicalities. Bottom line is you know what's acceptable & what isn't. You got a generous temp ban for behavior that isn't acceptable here. Whether something is clearly spelled out in the site rules or not, when you're nudged by a member of the staff to stop you would be well advised to stop. You didn't so you got temp banned.

Thing is, the story doesn't end there. Upon returning from the temp ban you felt the need to play a little game with me. Let me give you a little insight on just who the Ginsue is: For those who work with me, I am your best friend and will go to the ends of the Earth to help you. For those who work against me, I am the bane of your existence. And, lastly, the Ginsue does NOT PLAY GAMES.

So, I'll state this simply: I do not like your attitude. I do not like your lies. Right now, I do not like you. If you want to remain a member of this community I recommend that you evaluate what you really want here and whether or not you think you can work within the system as it is because we're not changing to appease you. I'll say this: Any more shenanigans & you'll be gone just that fast. Promise!


ETA: well, while I was typing this response ColoCCW/Scott decided to push his luck and kept reporting posts because he felt staff responses were inappropriate. As I'm sure you can see, he is now an ex-member of the site - at least temporarily.

Oh, and he did finally send me a PM at 20:31 asking for a name change. Kick my dog, ask for a favor, then kick my dog again. Wow! Guy needs a psych eval - fast! But, he got his name change.
