    Default Colt warranty service

Hope this is in the right place--so here is how it goes. Picked up a new 6920 last weekend and got around to trying it out today. Setup is as follows: Larue LT104 mount with a Leupold VX-R 4-12x40 and the factory colt A2 front sight/Magpul flip-up rear irons. I get set up at 50 yards and the thing won't hit paper with the scope. Tried the old school peer through the bore and align reticle, and get nowhere close. After fiddling around wasting about 10 rounds down the pipe, I tried the center area between the two targets I had setup and discovered it appears to be shooting left about 12-14" and 4" high. Obviously the scope doesn't have that much adjustment. For shiz and giggles, I tried the irons and got the same result. Can one assume the barrel is bent/pointed about a mile to the left? The next question is: has anyone dealt with their warranty dept? I'm hoping I can get away with only sending the upper in because I put a Geiselle trigger in and I don't really want to take that back out if I can get away with it. Thoughts/advice/comments appreciated.

    1/18/15 Update:
Received the upper back from Colt on Monday (1/12/15). I had a bit of time to try it out today (1/18) before the sun went down. It appears the issue has been corrected by what I assume is a new barrel. So, thanks to the folks at Colt for making it right. The only complaint I have is that there was no mention on the enclosed paperwork as to what was wrong or replaced. Colt CS was also unable to tell me what the problem was. Maybe I'm being picky, but I would like to have known what the initial issue was.

yous you're being picky and no they will not tell you. Hardly any mfg wil tell you there was an actual issue.
