In a world where fantasy is often more exciting than reality, Clint did about a good a job as you can with this biography.
I will definitely be reading the book. I hope Chris lives up to be as good a man in the book as he was in the movie. I am in awe of his many sacrifices and concept of duty and patriotism.
My wife and I dug the scene where Chris' wife listens in (helplessly and confused) on a firefight. While on the phone from Afghanistan, my wife has heard a car bomb go off, small arms fire, and what sounded like heavy machine gun fire (it was a helicopter hovering overhead). She really freaked out when she heard the helo, thinking I was under fire. I was glad I was there to explain it all. I was actually a little annoyed that the movie did not take the time to show Chris calling the wife back to say he was ok. My only other problem with the movie was when he was playing with that six shooter at the end of the movie...pointing it at his wife. It seemed out of character to treat a gun that carelessly.
