Glad I was working during the game, I heard it was awful. I like football (not nearly as much as hockey), but I really don't put a whole lot of energy and emotion into a game played by millionaires, many of whom, despite the ridiculous sums they're paid, cannot keep out of trouble. If I'm going to root for a team it's the one I grew up knowing and loving (Broncos) but I'm not a spoiled fan who throws a fit when we don't go all the way, nor am I a fair weather fan who only likes them when they're doing well. Most of these dolts in the area aren't even real fans. Peyton will retire, we'll struggle for a season or two, many of these idiots will fade away until we pick it back up.

I like football, it helps keep the range from being over crowded on Sundays.

Good on you for working in a women's shelter. If you find it coincidence that DUI accidents are higher on SuperBowl sunday's and that the rear end collisions are up a measurable amount during rush hour after a home team loss, well that is great for you.

Domestic violence related hospitalizations also increase after a major snowstorm, but then that is just coincidence too I guess.

Regardless, people get WAY too wrapped up about Pro Sports.

Yep and the media is such a help, here is a screenshot of the 9News Home Page Saturday night, 18 different stories about the Broncos, not a single actual news story on 9NEWS website.

It might open the door for Gary Kubiak, the Ravens offensive coordinator, who has strong ties to the Denver Broncos.

Kubiak has said he's staying in Baltimore already. I don't think he wants to put the HC stress on his body after his scare. Can't blame him.

Thank god they got rid of Fox. Nice guy who has no business being a head coach. Bring back Shanahan!

Easy now. I'm just saying that the myth that domestic violence skyrockets during the Super Bowl is just that. The statistics just don't show that. Never worked in a woman's shelter - don't know where that came from. http://www.snopes.com/crime/statistics/superbowl.asp

And yeah, folks get way too wrapped up in pro sports.
