I listened to this podcast. Kind of fun to consider the scenario. Then he got into making bone broth or something which was okay, but then he got hysterical and started yelling into the mic when he got into Obama's free college thing and I just could not listen to him anymore. I'll stick to my Dave Ramsey podcast for now.

Yes, Jack discusses a wide variety of topics and does go off sometimes. There's almost 9 years worth of podcasts to sort through. I pick and choose the ones I'm interested in.

Yeah , I think he goes a lil over the top sometimes
(his rant about free college) but like you said there's a ton of info to learn. He has pretty decent guest speakers too. the guy from heirloom seeds, can't recall the actual name , gave a bunch of info on the appropriate zone planting of great vegetables.
I plan to get everything ready to start next spring.
    Hopefully!!!!

One thing you could do to prepare for this scenario would be to make yourself strong enough that you could throw the 80lb kid on your back or over your shoulder and still move at a good pace.

    Fit is good.

I was at the Stock Show on Saturday. Way too many people for my comfort. Caught myself playing "what if" a few times.
