Anyway, Jack has been doing something lately on Mondays called the "Survival Scenario". He lays out a scenario, then asks for you to submit responses to what you would do. The following Monday he gives his response to that scenario and then presents a new one. Pretty cool stuff to keep your mind working. He started to put these on YouTube. Here's the first one:

What I like about these scenarios is that are things that can actually happen, not "zombies are rambling over the hill toward your home" or "Russian forces are parachuting into your back yard" like Red Dawn or something. Just thought you might like these.

Started listening to his Pod cast about two months ago. Tons of info on real world things that you can actually use. His segments on small farming are pretty good too!

I started listening about a year ago. It took a bit to get over Jack's sort of, I don't know, arrogance maybe? But I have learned a ton and have some great plans for this spring for the garden and birds. Can't wait for spring!

Yeah , I think he goes a lil over the top sometimes
(his rant about free college) but like you said there's a ton of info to learn. He has pretty decent guest speakers too. the guy from heirloom seeds, can't recall the actual name , gave a bunch of info on the appropriate zone planting of great vegetables.
I plan to get everything ready to start next spring.
    Hopefully!!!!
