None of the beer vendors knew WTF a Redeye was. When I was a kid, all the cowboys would be lined up at the beer booth on Saturday morning. Most would walk away with a cup of red stuff. Asked my Mother what they were drinking. She said it was called Redeye. Why? Because all the cowboys were hungover from the night before, look at their eyes. Can't go to a stock show and not order one. Usually with lots of hot sauce.
The recipe is 1/2 beer, 1/2 tomato juice (or V8) and hot sauce.
I'll try to post a pic of one of the first stock shows I went to. Pretty funny stuff.

There everyday.... In the events center ... I do all the special effects lighting
I used to drive carriages on the 16th St. Mall a bunch of years ago. The guy I worked for would take a team of Clydesdale to compete in the draft horse competition. I would go and help. It was real cool to be involved in the behind the scenes stuff. I miss doing that...
