    Going to see if I can get an OAL case gauge tomorrow and try to seat one a little further tonight and see what happens.

    You have the best case gauge there is... just take the barrel out and drop in a round. If it sits flush or slightly below the barrel hood and drops out freely, you're good to go. You'll come to appreciate the "plunk".

    You're making more work than necessary. Follow ZS's and my advice, the gauge you need is already in hand.

    So I re adjusted the seat die and took the barrel out of the gun and I got the "plunk"! Thanks again for all the help everyone.

    Drop loaded round in chamber. If it makes a plunk sound or drops all the way in, it passed the plunk test.

    Your chamber is the best gauge made.
