    Default Phone Stolen

So my girlfriend is a waitress at Yard House park meadows and a few weeks ago one of the employees stole her phone from the employee restroom. The company wouldn't really help so she was SOL.
Well today she is on her new phone and goes to her Google back up and finds this random pictures of this girl and other stuff. Pictures she clearly never took. she posted it on FB and tagged her Co workers turns out they reconize her as a dishwasher and silverware roller. I can't wait for tonight when we go there and talk with management. I told her if they still won't do anything email the story to a news network.

    Stupid fu@@ing idiot.

Are you expecting the company to do anything other than firing the girl?

Is it to late to get the police involved? I found out today she didn't file a report just talked to the company.

It doesn't matter if it's "too late"- file it anyhow, and be sure to print out those photos of the girl. You'll have all of this documentation to bring with you, including the Lone Tree police report, to the manager. That should demonstrate that you mean business. Do it NOW.

Sorry to hear that. I doubt the company/management will do a thing. This is expected in the restaurant biz.

Way back when I was in school waiting tables, we had a busser steal a server's "bank." The way it worked was any checks paid in cash went to the server and when the server checked out for the night, he had to hand over the restaurant's sales, keeping the rest (tips). This worked great 99% of the time and kept the servers honest (no need for a drawer). But towards the end of a shift you were carrying cash sales + tips with you.

Well when this waitress had her bank taken she had to come up with around $300 cash to balance. This particular restaurant didn't mess around and she wouldn't have just been fired, but they probably would have called DPD. There was even a witness who saw the busser messing around in that server's section where the money was taken, they didn't care.

We (servers) all pitched in so she didn't get fired and gave up our tips. We barely had enough to cover it. I think everyone went home with $5 in their pocket that night and some of us had worked a swing (10+ hours) that day--no one got paid back.

Busser who did it even bragged later on. Never got fired or disciplined as far as we knew.

This is a different situation, Skip. These smart phones are worth $700+, which makes it something other than a little larceny. Cash can't really be traced. This can, and has been.
