Damn man. Were you using a log splitter or a maul/axe? Looks like a maul/axe.

Small hatchet. Was splitting a log into some kindling and missed.
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.
Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you.
Shit. I do this every few days. I usually wear gloves but ya know. Not always.
Kinda funny story for you. I was the foreman on a drill rig back in the day (water well). The driller is pulling the auger out of the hole and the helper is removing the sections of auger. He removes the bolts then sticks his finger in the bolt hole to clean out the dirt just as the driller spins the auger to get the dirt off. Zing! Finger gets mangled.
I freak and get the dude and his mangled hand into my car and do 80MPH up Colorado to the hospital.
On the way he asks me, " You think they can put it back on?"
I reply with, "They put Bobbit's cock back on and he's doing porn now..."
He actually laughed at that.
When I left he hospital my Mazda shitbox was running like shit. Turns out that I had cracked one of the terminals clean off of the distributor cap. Apparently I pushed the limits of my little Mazda.
Heal up quick bro.![]()

Oh Damn, sorry to hear this! I love my fingers, I'd be mortified to lose one. Considering my past job history, I reckon I'm lucky to still have them all.
Heal up well man!
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

"Stop Resisting Arrest!"
Damn, that will leave a mark... Heal fast.
Sorry about your accident, and good luck on your recovery.
I mangled my left thumb in a tablesaw a decade and a half ago. (Word of advice - do not try to use miter gauge and fence at the same time.) Got a free ambulance ride to Nemours hand trauma clinic in Baltimore. Surgeon did a great job sewing all the pieces back together, and gave me three quarters of a thumb back. It takes a little while, but you adapt quick enough, and then it becomes part of your 'character'. You also discover just how many people around you are missing a part or all of their digits.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
Any hot nurses ask for your digits?
Hope you have a speedy recovery. At least it's the left hand.
