    Default DIY rattle can camo

So, going to try my hand at doing a little camo on one of my rifles. Probably won't camo the whole thing out but just do the stock for now. I've seen a lot of people online doing some pretty cool stuff. Hopefully mine doesn't turn out looking like a third grader did it when I'm done. Going to pick up some paint while I'm out running some errands today. I'll post up some pictures as the project progresses.

    Wish me luck.

Well, Home Depot didn't have any good paint. Guess I'll have to swing by Walmart and see what they have.

Are you going to use Krylon or what? Walmart always has a good selection of camo colors.

I applaud your courage and I anxiously await the results. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but don't have the guts. I've been practicing on a few other items lately, trying to build up my rattlecan skillz.

Ok. Here everything is all disassembled and ready to go.

Used some of this to make sure there wasn't any oil left on it.

Here everything is after the first coat of paint.

Here it is somewhere in the middle of the process.

And I think this is where I'm going to stop. Although I'm debating adding a touch of forest green.

I'll probably let it sit overnight before I put it all back together then I'll post another picture.

That was quick. Where'd you end up getting the paint?
