Default Upper for 80% Arms .308 Lower?

So I didn't find anything directly pertaining to this issue through my searches.

If anyone has assembled a .308 using an 80% Arms lower, what worked, and what didn't?
What brands of uppers mate well with 80% Arms .308 80% lowers? I know there is no true "Standard" for the .308 AR platforms, and there are some compatibility issues even between so-called DPMS pattern/LR308 and SR25 from vendor to vendor. I am not even addressing the Armalite issue in this thread, as I am looking to put together a lr308/sr25 type rifle.
Yes, I know that buying a matched set of stripped receivers would be the most obvious route to go to ensure success, but I wantedt o put a little more of myself into this build.

Thanks in advance for you guys' input on what works, and what doesn't.

I will start by saying that based on mocking up the 80% lower to a PSA PA-10 upper, there is some interference with the CH and the top of the buffer tube yoke. I have no problem shaving some material off the yoke for clearance, but will I run into issues with the alignment of the bore axis/bolt carrier/buffer tube?

No help here, but tag for further info. I just got in my 80% Arms jig and a pile of lowers not too long ago, was looking at that 308 as well.

The PSA upper doesn't work with a DPMS lower, unfortunately. Doing homework to see what works with what is the fun part. Unless you want an 80% build, the PSA is so low priced it's more cost effective to buy one ready to shoot.

And didn't find that info beforehand. Already have a PSA lower on order, but would still like to build out the milled lower. Just because.
Might even do an 80% AR15 lower, for the same reason.

I did quite a bit of researching going in, but as I stated above, AR's in 308 are a muddy puddle, other than factory built.

80% AR lowers are fun, i hear. Same for BYO suppressors, much easier than waiting for Form 3 transfers, OR prototypes.
