There will be a street legal version as well, @ about 250 rear wheel HP and +/- $50K.

I can build a street legal 300 HP Hayabusa for under $25K, including the new bike.

The people that can afford a $50k bike, don't usually want to build anything. They just want to say they have a $50k super fast bike.

I built a 317 hp Gen II a few years back. With more fuel pump, there was probably another 35 available in tuning...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...*hack, cough*...

317 hp would be insane! I had a 600rr for a bit and that was fast (in my opinion). I couldn't imagine 317 hp. Haha.

The scariest thing is that it didn't FEEL fast. The power with the supercharger was utterly linear, just more everywhere. It made over 240 hp at 40% throttle. If you were foolish enough to whack the throttle open in 4th at 100 mph, it would light the rear tire. 153 lb/ft peak torque. Thankfully the swingarm was stretched, otherwise it would have gone over backward on the first test ride.
