The scariest thing is that it didn't FEEL fast. The power with the supercharger was utterly linear, just more everywhere. It made over 240 hp at 40% throttle. If you were foolish enough to whack the throttle open in 4th at 100 mph, it would light the rear tire. 153 lb/ft peak torque. Thankfully the swingarm was stretched, otherwise it would have gone over backward on the first test ride.
Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?

That's awesome! I remember the first time I went full throttle/redline on the CBR. I slid back on the bike. LOL. The next time, I braced myself a bit more. Very peaky power. It was quick under 6k rpms but after 6k, it was a different machine. Bikes are pure euphoria. Just you, the machine and the road. Late night rides were the best. Sigh...I miss the bike but I did say my thanks every time I made it home safely.
