Default Aurora theater shooting victim selling BUCKSHOT removed from her body.

    http://q13fox.com/2015/01/23/survivo...-her-own-body/

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing this, especialy considering what she's selling. Buckshot pellets from the aurora theater shooting. It's actually the first time I've heard that a shotgun was used.

DENVER, Colorado – As jury selection starts in the James Holmes mass-murder trial, one Aurora Colorado theater shooting victim is selling pellets from her body as murder memorabilia.
The woman tells KDVR-TV in Denver that she needs the money — to avoid becoming homeless.
“There’s a little scar here,” says Carli Richards pointing to herself. “There’s another one below it”
These aren’t scars from an accident.
Instead they’re the daily reminder of a night out on July 20th, 2012.
“The theater was so packed, it was almost impossible to find a spot where to sit,” she says
But Carli and hundreds more were there the moment a gunman opened fire inside theater number nine in Aurora.
Carli was struck all across her body.
“I got hit in the chest, the back, and like everywhere,” she says.
Now two and half years later, she’s still removing some of pellets. Which has lead to the idea to turn her pain into a profit.
“I was actually kind of baffled that the idea even came to me, you know the idea to sell the pellets, I was like ok haha…you know,” she says.
Carli is now selling her pellets on the website “Serial Killers Ink
It’s a murder memorabilia shop featuring things like letters from America’s most notorious killers.
“The people who collect these sorts of things, they shell out so much money for it,” she says.
Which is why Carli’s pellet is selling for some 1,650 dollars.
It comes with a signed photo, and all of the money will go to the 24-year-old.
But is she glorifying crimes like the shooting itself?
“I think people have extreme black or white thinking about things and I think that like people will always find something negative to say,” she says.
Serial Killers Ink says this is the first time they’ve sold anything like this to help a victim.
Carli tells us she’s just grateful for the help.
“I’ve had trouble holding on to jobs, we got flooded out of our home at one point, I mean it’s been one thing after the other,” she says.
The fragment is still for sale and Carli hopes the money will go to help pay the basics she just can’t afford anymore.

Weird. Kind of glorifies the shooter and the crime, don't you think?

I can't really fault her though... she never asked to be shot by that mental midget.

I thought that was common knowledge ... he started with an AR with a Beta C mag that jammed almost immediately and switched to an 870 that he did most of his killing with (was also a .40 Glock used).

At any rate I don't blame this chick for selling the buckshot, hell she should get something for the shit she went through. I'm more concerned about the sick fucker that bought it (unless they were doing so as a means of helping her out).

I look at it more like turning lemons into lemonaid. She was wronged and is at least getting something out of it. It sounds like life has generally crapped on her.

yeah, I guess I just remember all the ar15 talk at the time, and didn't catch that a shotty was used.

I definitely think its cool she's helping herself out like that.

    Slow news week?

I'm wondering why someone would pay that for it.
