Default Sotomayor nominated to high court - good? bad?

I poked around on the internet a little, seems like it might be a positive for the 2nd amendment issues.

President Barack Obama named federal appeals judge Sonia Sotomayor as the nation's first Hispanic Supreme Court justice on Tuesday, praising her as "an inspiring woman" with both the intellect and compassion to interpret the Constitution wisely...

Bad bad bad. She is nothing more than a liberal activist that's racist towards white people.

That's my take as well. Discrimination in any form is ugly.

    this

Judges are supposed to be impartial and rule based upon THE Constitution.

btw, the Constitution is NON-NEGOTIABLE, it is what it is.

I think with Olama following the liberal handbook to the letter like a teleprompter. If he tapped it, then it won't work and it will turn to shit. That is IMO though. But I haven't been proven wrong about them doing the wrong thing yet.

If she is racist towards white people then she might also hate Mexicans too. I would have loved to see him pick a freedom loving American like Uncle Ted. But I don't think he would tow the line like a good little girl from the ghetto would.
Did you hear that she was poor? If you haven't then you will. It seems to be at the top of her resume.

I grew up poor but since I am a white man I get no points for it.

I was listening to NPR, and of course they have tried to present both sides of the issue and had some guy on who was saying that she did some bad thing having to do with white firefighters or something. They cut the guy off, and he didn't do a good job explaining what he was talking about in the time that he was given. So far, I haven't seen any documentation of what she has done either way. Does anyone have something they can post up so we can make an informed decision?

Of course its not like Barry is going to pick anything OTHER than hard core leftist activists.

Only slight possible silver lining (more of a little fleck of silver on the lining) is that apparently she's not well regarded by other judges (even liberal ones) and is considered a very very difficult person to work with.

One liberal judge (who's name escapes me) said she's more likely to push fence sitters AWAY from her position just because of her abrasive manor.
